For those of you who renovate and rent and advertise on social media sites, personal websites, etc., do you show before and after pictures or simply the newly renovated property?

Couple that with the huge drop off in people actually reading newspapers and it is now a fairly expensive media that most people say if not that effective either.I know some markets still have it being useful (to market to buyers or sellers or renters) but I have never heard of one MA investor say that it was useful for them (for any of those groups).

The media runs stories about evil investors doing exotic things because it is in their interest to do so to sell ad spotsD.

The founders of VRBO (husband & wife) are some of the smartest and authentic people you'd ever meet and have such integrity, it really was an honor to be associated with the company when they owned it.

You basically hired labor and really no warranty to speak of, its just really a matter of his integrity.

I did a walk through with each to make sure they were quoting similar scope and materials, as well as to get a feel for experience, quality, integrity etc.

If you're an insider, especially from the beginning, you're an integral part of the plan.So, your best position is the guy who everyone sees as the solution guy, who has the money, hires the attorney, calls the shots, etc.I do not have control issues (as long as people do things my way on my timeline, etc.).

Somehow however, it does seem to be the case that only the rich are publicly labeled as such in the media.
