When you start reading about this and searching the internet one thing I find is true... there are many LLC formation services that claim to do a bunch of stuff, several of them sell expensive "education" packages which just get a foot in the door to sell more services, and other do-it-yourselfers (legal zoom)ut.  

I also did the same this year and I have been learning about key metrics, different investing avenues, and educating myself on what type of returns I am looking for.In addition to investing in single family homes or a duplex or triplex and renting those out, there is a movement towards passive investing that I am seeing.

They are putting on an educational webinar on the topic of SDIRAs and real estate (the title of this post) and I wanted to see what people's opinion of their company was. 

I've been fascinated with real estate for nearly a year and made a promise to myself that I would own my first multi-family at the beginning of 2025 and utilize my current time to look for deals and educate myself.

Right now I'm educating myself as much as possible: reading every REI book I can get my hands on, listening to the BP podcast, I've attended one BP webinar.  

Hi Friedrich,As was mentioned a few times, defining your investment objectives is crucial so I'll add educating yourself on those objectives as well.

Start off with a SFH that you can get at least cash flow neutral on a long-term rental and let your education begin that way.

And good on you - it sounds like you have done more to educate yourself and go about things the right way than most (by far).
