An attorney can give his opinion as to what the odds are of the different ways a legal dispute can play out, but it’s the investors decision based on a cost/benefit/ risk analysis to decide how and of to proceed.There’s no way for anyone to render an opinion about what you “should” have done without (1) complete information as to the property being purchased and (2) complete information as to the risk tolerance and financial makeup of your investment group.Here’s my advice - don’t second guess yourself based on opinions of people who (1) don’t possess “all the facts” and (2) probably never acted as sponsors of a syndicated investment.

From what i've seen, due to the way the city worded the form with this LAIC taking financial responsibility, I'm having a hard time finding anyone who will sign it.  

Consider your shared vision, financial goals, values, morals, ethical alignment, and personality types. 2) You likely don’t want someone with your same skills.

You also have to have a strong financial foundation!

This can go so many ways.The last people you want to talk to is a normal, average financial advisor.

.- Too many other investors willing to buy based on a proforma, rather than real financials.- Too many other investors willing to pay prices that only pencil because they're (a) self-managing and/or (b) renovating/turning around the units themselves.

Then either the county or city condemned on at least two of the buildings and demolished them.The goal of real estate investing is financial freedom.

Keep at it I say, but modify your search, not your financial minimums.
