Not everything in Hawaii is gold.. and you have a ton of competition . 

IMO taking care of your physical health is one of the simplest ways to gain a competitive advantage. 

If this returns to similar numbers to 2023 the market will likely be highly competitive on price.

You will want to see what your competition is offering for amenities.

@Sejin Kimyou can't just make it a short term rental because you want more money, or because that's the only way to cover the expenses... that's not how it works.it has to be eligible to be used as an STR; it has to make a good STR; and you have to be able to run it as an STR that will beat out its competition. 

You want an aggressively negotiated purchase price, low closing costs, lower property taxes, affordable insurance, minimal HOA fees, and competitive property management fees.

@Katie Van Koooten usually owner occupants will pay a bit more and you’ll have a larger buyer pool with more competition.

Already too much competition.

Same with checks and cash.I checked out some of the above mentioned apps and they definitely did not fit my need or were expensive compared to the competition.
