I regularly call sellers on behalf of my buyer clients that I have preapproved and walk the seller through the rigor of my preapproval process to prevent this exact situation. 

Catherine id highly recommend spending a full day or two consuming youtube videos that specifically go into detail about this process, theres so much to teach and writing this whole thing out would literally be a whole book.

When deciding between them, looks for flexible memberships, no high-volume minimum, and customer service to help walk you through the process.

Finally, stay disciplined, trust the process, and take action to build momentum.

If you’ve bought your STR recently then you should be familiar with the process and you can proceed accordingly if it’s a solid deal.

But for sure don't come in pushing back on real advice when your feelings get hurt, understand that's apart of the process.
