I think you have to look smaller regions and at more individual deals to make a decision, but overall I think that appreciation is a great sign in this area and hilltop is a zip code you can get cheaper houses in Columbus. 

But is it still possible to put a sub meter like device on individual units just so I know who may be running a bitcoin operation so I can send notices to the right units in that event?

Regarding your script you might try a less business like approach and change it to sound more like just a private individual looking to buy a property.

As a better alternative, I'm in the process of identifying a reputable lender to refinance each condo individually.  

I am not wanting to say you can't do it, I simply think it's going to look more like a term/installment loan from a local bank or a private individual. 

I have read that acquiring bank loans in some ways actually gets easier as the bank cares about the NOI, CAP rate etc as the basis for the loan and not the individual behind the company seeking the loan. 

Trying to mix equity partners, tenants in common, etc to wonderful loans available only to natural individuals just complicates at your detriment.Add mom and dad to an investment property if you want to. 

The new legislation for higher taxation of capital gains, to 66.67%, with no exemption for corporations (individuals get 250k per year) is another excuse I am using for now.

There's also potentially some liability protections you can have in place by having the work done by the GC rather than you as individuals (discussion for your legal team).
