@Travis Bernard It really isn't that strange a lot of counties that encompass country land have rules like this in place.

Fed Hill has always had that charm.

But my parents, my family, we've always bought old houses and renovated them and I GET them, which is a good thing in a city like Richmond, VA which is still full of charming old houses, with great bones, thankfully.

I could also buy something nice to live in DC for myself (a walkable neighborhood close to metro appeals to me - I’d rather not live in suburbs right now) and slowly 1031 some properties to cheaper rentals in Baltimore (I’ve always had a weird place in my heart for charm city after spending weeks out there with a buddy in college).

Thanks @Allen Fletcher There is a house around the corner from this (7 houses down) with less charm, but same sq ft, build date, yard size, etc. that doesn't have the traffic that this house does.

A big part of the "Student Ghetto" area encompasses the Vine neighborhood and the like.

If I have a couple properties when refinancing into a more conventional package to encompass all properties.

Don't be fooled by his charm and eloquent sales pitch.
