I am contemplating getting my Bachelors Degree in Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering Technology in order to exhaust my GI Bill.

I worked for granite fabricators for years and yes there are small traces of radon but we felt it was a selling point to turn the industry to quartz which is an engineered stone that doesn’t require to be sealed.

I'm investing in Ohio currently (cleveland/columbus) as I like the economics of both cities and overall population trends, jobs, and economic engines like schools, hospitals etc.  

I will more than likely get a degree in engineering and then find a job.

My wife and I own our home, and are using 2019 to get out of consumer debt and I am working to learn what I can about real estate investing.I am a voice systems engineer for a financial institution.Maybe with confidence and time trying wholesaling or flipping would be in the realm of possibility. 

If you have the itch and appetite for development then maybe you go the route of developing it yourself and finding a good civil engineer and custom home builder.

I currently live in Washington DC with my boyfriend and we both work full time for the government as an engineer and chemist. 

Caterpillar is moving a new facility here, Raytheon is looking to hire on over 2000 new engineers, and more office workers, there is talk about Texas Instruments moving back, and potentially even IBM.
