Interesting idea about a fixed price contract...I'm working on spreadsheets that explore different hour disrepencies and different wages--- fixed price contract may solve some of those unknowns...

Add to this confusion the supply that was previously unknown about from some mines that were previously abondoned because costs of manufacturing that supply were prohibitive previously, but with the rising prices and better technology they have again begun producing supplies of such commodities which are introduced into the supply stream before it is figured where they are comming from.

Bring in a contractor to make you an estimate or do it yourself and budget for some unknowns.

Hi AllI've been doing some browsing and have comeAcross a few properties that mention " ground rent unknown or owner willNot redeem ground rent " does this mean that there is squatters present or the tenants are not paying rent or the owner has no idea what is going on ? 

People are afraid of the unknown.

No one's trying to steal anyone's equity, for cryin' out loud.Without a borrower statement or demand to the lender or published notice of default, the unpaid balance on the lien amount is an unknown.  

For new investors, the fears are the unknown of being taken advantage of, of losing money, of making mistakes, of coming across as a novice...so, if you plan on doing business with these people, anticipate those fears and address them.
