Would you rather be home based in the Bay Area with tons of things to do nearby, good weather, lots of nature, etc. or someplace with little culture, extreme temperatures, bland immediate environment, etc., etc.

Well during the closing process someone turned off the heat and knowing there were some leaks in the roof we saw that the temperature fluctuations caused the moisture in the house to expand and contract to cause our plaster to crumble whenever touched.

Hi Michelle,Yes, I think a better contractor would have helped, but the main issue I have is when the OAT is around 12F or below with an inside temperature at 68F (a delta of ~55F or more) I get heavy frosting on the exterior (cold) surfaces, in localized areas.

I can't imagine how fogging would work: some of the (toxic) molds are resistant to extremes of temperatures.

It should have learned that the temperature inside has a lot to do with the temperature and humidity of outside.
