Consider your credit, by paying down or paying off credit cards.  

I am currently on a work visa (L1B to be exact) and at the start of the employer sponsored green card process.

My credit card only charges my Netflix and is paid off in full to maintain 3 lines of credit.

@Jonathan Farber - The carriers hold all the cards on where the sites are needed and they distribute the locations to strategic partners that build the towers and lease them back. 

I previously used a company for my first flip that used credit cards at 0% intro interest rate to complete my first flip.

When people state that they don't want me to call their current landlord because they don't want to show their cards until they have something lined up....... ok...... then I need to contact your 2 previous landlords.The current landlord reference can be an issue anyway...... the tenant may be a huge PITA and the LL wants them gone anyway...... they may give a glowing review or hold back the truth just to get rid of them.
