I WOULD qualify, if they counted the $25,000-30,000 rental income the house produces, but I have heard from two companies they will not count rental income for owner occupant loans.Is this standard Fannie regulation?

They may "cherry pick" some of the properties, but at the end of the day they still need to produce high-quality investment properties otherwise investors will not want to purchase them.Raymond B.: The correct way to have a tenant lease structured is to have the lease in the name of the tenant and the landlord/property manager.
