Big materials are easy (Cabinets, Counters, toilets, etc.) but small materials like screws, glue, caulk, paint brushes, rollers, plastic, are hard to estimate and put into a category.

not burn paper, plastics or othermaterials. 

Dishwashers can be problematic, since there can be water in the drain area and they are pretty much plastic pipes.If water was drained from all supply lines and the water heater and toilet tanks, then you only have drain lines to worry about.  

We also started a eco-friendly plastic moving boxes rental company in South Florida.In the next year, I hope to sell my townhome, buy something smaller with the cash in DC and use the rest to buy another couple of properties in Florida.

@Larry Fried  I've thought about being a private lender, even though my initial investments might be on a smaller scale, there's always someone who needs money.

Actually you could put food and medicine in a plastic bag, and even keep the fridge running. 

To summarize it all, we finally closed on the property last Fri. and that chapter is closed.
