I've kept a 5 gallon bucket by the door now and then, but usually it gets over used, and that crap gets tracked into the building.I have a service for removing snow and plowing, but I'm talking about the occasional light snowfall or freezing rain when the service isn't needed, and a couple minutes of my time to throw some salt is all that's needed.I bring this up because of a text I received today about ice at the entrance of one of my 4plexes.

And the icing on the cake was an email that I received today from Allison "The 21 Best Real Estate Investing Articles, Ever?".  

The back stairs are ALWAYS caked with ice so bad that most people avoid them.

Something about an early bird and all that...I had a great full weekend, starting with watching my local hockey team work over our rivals on Friday night.

At various ARVs I want a bit bigger spread but I have realtor commission which is icing on the cake if the spread is tighter.  

Once there were men delivering ice to homes for their ice box to preserve food.

P.S.To reiterate what @Dawn Anastasi suggested, the local BP meetup tomorrow will be a great way to break the ice and meet some new contacts.

So for a flip it's a good deal where is so anything further will be icing on the cake.  

I have never seen ice on the ground, let alone know anything about piples freezing.I know how salt water corrodes things but ice is not in my wheelhouse. 

They had already called the power company 2 months ago, who came out and checked and told them that the condenser was icing up.
