Another option I imagine would be working out some kind of easement, but I am not sure what steps that would entail.

I won't have to repair or replace anything for the next two years in this home.With 9 homes left, maybe two or three of my model, I'm not too concerned with the tactics the builder may entail to get rid of those homes.

@Christopher Phillips  According to the owner, the tenant is supposed to keep up with the maintenance per the lease (though I have not yet seen the signed lease to see what this entails).

Personal liability entails your home, other personal assets, your bank accounts. 

I know it is going to entail alot of learning and stepping out of my comfort zone, but I am ready for it.

Door to door prospecting is the most difficult type of sales prospecting because it’s (1) time consuming, (2) labor intensive and (3) entails a high number of face to face rejection.
