You really need to meet with a good tax professional in your area,  transferring effective ownership to you could trigger gift tax plus their basis in the property would also transfer to you so I they owned it for a long time this could be a disastrous tax move.

Whether you pull the trigger or not, I'm sure that year of hard work and studying has helped lead you to this moment.I don't know specifics about condos - although I don't like worrying about HOAs.Since I invested in Jacksonville, Florida from Korea, I had to do a lot of due diligence online.

Hello allI have a scenario to run by you and I know what most will say but I just want it to make sense as to why I would pass when my trigger finger keeps wanting to pull the trigger :)Portfolio of rentals for sale, 14 Duplex units and 1 Single Family in Timbuk (names have been changed to protect the innocent) yes they aren't in the greatest area which isn't good I know but they have all been upgraded new roofs etc. 90% occupied at moment asking 580k for all.
