One's financial / legal professional SHOULD be able to extrapolate to the point of determining how best to insulate the business person as much as possible from potential liability issues.The topic of this thread is not "sheltering income" (which I do not promote - always be above-board and honest: full disclosure, especially when dealing with the government), nor is it even protection against liability arising from the assets under one's control (control everything, own nothing).Colleen was asking about issues pertaining to deductibility due to personal income caps.
