@Nate Pomeroy That is actually why I asked the question about class since I too took a gamble and purchased 2 C class SFRs in Ohio and they have been awful for management. 

So, my properties may have suffered a big loss in value, but, my properties are in the Oil Capital of Brazil where we have all the oil rigs offshore and most of the high paying JOB's in Brazil.

That is a bit of a gamble, but hey it's what folks are doing.

@Tyler Sawyer I don't think being new to this that you want to gamble with what the markets are going to do.

She's basically gambling that this will vastly increase tourism locally (and our downtown is doing stuff to help this as well) and is investing differently based on this.
