If the breach is not remedied within the seven business days after receipt of the notice to terminate the lease, the rental agreement shall terminate on the date provided in the notice to terminate the lease unless the tenant adequately remedies the breach before the date specified in the notice, in which case the rental agreement shall not terminate.

In your opinion/experience were you to get this signed agreement for early termination from the tenant what is the likelihood of this contract superseding the original lease agreement in front of a judge?

For example, the landlord would have to pay up to 5 times the median rent if terminating without a just cause.

When someone is on a month-to-month lease, you can terminate their lease by giving proper notice.

They are responsible for paying rent through the full term of the contract.Nevertheless, I still get an email now and then from tenants giving notice of lease termination while they are still mid-term.

I have general lights but apparently, the emergency lights need to be connected to some sort of battery(I’m not an electrician) and piping in order for the lights to stay on in case of a power outage.

Hi BP - My tenant just provided notice to terminate her lease on my condo in Seattle, WA.
