In my area, licensed professionals DO have to be involved and there's only a few companies offering the actual transporting services so that hikes up the price to around $8k to move a single wide and $15k to move a double wide (this includes disconnecting, transporting, setting back up and permits).

It may be the case that Californication of supply is sort of going nation wide thus why some new tracts are already bought up?

I chose to use HomeDepot because this is probably the most widely used supplier and holds a very large market share nationally.

We have a great producing Airbnb double wide in Washington state with solid equity.

The two reasons I personally like the Chicago market is the wide range of prices and the amount of old inventory that needs to be renovated.
