I did some research online on what I should do but it seems that those are for Apartments and I am uncertain if that applies to rental rooms. 

You should be good to go as far as running a STR there (barring that there's not an HOA there the prohibits them).Idaho, in general, is very friendly to Airbnb, VRBO, and STRs - they have legislation in place that protects and promotes them.

All these problem have been solved due to the passage of legislation which modifies Florida Statutes 83.59 and 83.67, the sections that define when a manager may take possession of the property and how to deal with abandoned property.
