I can see in his case where it was a day or 2 then done, but I think a longer stay would create a better opportunity to re-rent the space.

We are not currently offering PM services to other land lords in the market, but I think that the market is ripe to disrupt this space as there are very few seasoned operators that are set up for out of state investor's to actually hit pro forma rents and expenses.

Is it 'NO WI-FI AT THE CABIN" with space?  

These renewals are helping maintain occupancy levels, even as companies remain cautious, opting to renew in place rather than relocate.The pandemic has led to a reevaluation of office space needs, with many companies downsizing or offloading excess space.

Since you don't need a lot of space, buy a starter home to live in & then use the rest of the funds to purchase a cash-flowing rental in the area.
