There is nothing wrong with not wanting to use one, but when something goes sideways, you got to look in the mirror for who is responsible. 

What seems like a massive undertaking while going through it, it will always seem less monumental looking at it in the rearview mirror.

The best one will be the person in the mirror.

A regular mirror costs $50. at that point makes sense ro install one with storage

Take advice from people you want to mirror as mimicry is the purest form of flattery.
