Is any one here using promissory notes as collateral for more financing?

If the credit facility default is a function of the borrower default, you must first take possession of the collateral for the credit facility and then you must also deal with the defaulted note itself by way of some form of mortgage disposition either foreclose, re-trade the note, etc. to get the credit facility capital back.
