Exemptions include "Housing accommodations in which the tenant shares bathroom or kitchen facilities with the owner who maintains their principal residence at the residential real property.(5) Single-family owner-occupied residences, including a residence in which the owner-occupant rents or leases no more than two units or bedrooms, including, but not limited to, an accessory dwelling unit or a junior accessory dwelling unit."

If you had some type of accessory building, then sure, but not in the house.

I made sure the buyer knew about this.In the town I live in they allow accessory units restricted to family member use in some zones. 

Toys, lawn accessories, garbage, etc. are constantly found.

Not sure if this is the right spot to post but here goes.Just went under contract on a sfr with a non attached Accessory Dwelling Unit 1 bedroom cottage in the very back of property.

. - Shop around for furniture and items, again I was in a rush to get mine ready but go to clearance sections of furniture stores and get accessories from like a Goodwill. 

(It will take another year or so before I can show a solid rental history on my first rental purchased last year; until then I won't qualify for another mortgage).I started construction on an accessory dwelling unit in my back yard, a carriage house (aka a large shed) that will become a not-so-tiny house.
