Since you have access to the Internet, you can access a host of valuable resources such as videos, blogs, websites, webinars, and e-books - all of which will provide you the information you need.

Books, ebooks, websites, the works.

Don't just jump at out of state investing without at least investigating southern cal.If you do decide to look at other areas, this is a link to an e-book that can help get you started in your research safely.  

Unfortunately since I wrote it, I can't exactly review it but I can go into a little more detail about what you'll find in the course itself.I guess the easiest way to describe it would be that it's essentially an elaboration on our Introduction to Note Investing E-book with much more detail on both the Performing and NPN side of the business. 

Take advantage of listening to the weekly podcasts and downloading all the free e-books.

Some are about specifics like wholesaling, turnkey, buy and hold, and property management (the BP Podcasts, the BP e-books, The Millionaire Real Estate Investor, etc. come to mind) while other topics are bigger picture items like asset allocation, financial freedom, and mindset (Think & Grow Rich, How to Win Friends & Influence People, and Rich Dad, Poor Dad are a few examples).One thing I have not seen much reference to on BiggerPockets is online videos.
