I would recommend using a google voice number since they are free and very hard to track back to you ( less worries of getting a fine).

I am a finance major now and have never balanced a checkbook in my life, and never will - I can go online and instantly see my balance.Point being, my school made a minimal effort, but at least they tried - I guess.Also the recent "financial crisis" is only adding to the negative connotation surrounding, well educated, financially literate, high net worth individuals.

My 10 units in the Fresno area average $700 a month, so I do own a few lower middle class rentals (which I hate due to tenant damage, higher vacancy rates and poor neighborhoods).Having a full time job as a Finance Director doesn't give me the time to flip but I am "retiring" October 1, 2010 so I may explore doing that next year.

Many of these people see wholesaling as a stepping stone to something better in real estate, but I have been in REI for about four years and I couldnt tell you more than five sentences on wholesaling and that it is really a fine art mastered by a small few who have been doing it for a long time and who probably did some other type of job (agent, mortgage, or title work) before they jumped in.
