Before you know it, you'll be testing the paint for lead, the water for arsenic, the air for mold spores, pulling up the subfloor to determine the radon seepage, raking the yard looking for poisonous snakes and camped out with a flashlight and a machete in the yard in the dead of night warding off the threat of a zombie apocalypse while they chat up your other tenants into a class action suit to address your "negligence."

We would spend weekends snaking neighborhoods and looking for open houses (because agents would try to double end the listing and they'd have open houses before listing the property on the MLS).

Not getting my hopes up about learning anything ...and fully prepared to have lots of people trying to sell me different flavors of snake oil.   

@Caleb Heimsothwe fixed through snaking with a plumber temporarily. its been two months and no backflow. but i will need to replace the pipe from house to main sewer. i have a tenant in cordova leave after one year and left the house dirty and cosmetic rehab needed the joys of being an OOS landlord lol.

Yes those are garter snakes. 

Same for the plumbers, when I visit Home Depot, I make a point to go to their tool rental area to see who is renting commercial snakes and ask what they do.

Be careful as a member of the LLC, listing agent and buyers agent, that water has more than a few snakes in it.

Who knows they might not care about a small cable snaking down the hall if it solves the problem.

A plumber would have to snake a camera through the sewer pipes.

Make sure you have an immaculate offering put together when you present as well as the right contracts in place with the owner, otherwise it'll be snaked.
