It doesn't do you much good to have a tenant with enough income who pays the rent on time and does $15,000 in damage to your unit (yes, it is possible to do that much damage) .Also, I do not want that "sufficient income" to come from the sale proceeds of a marijuana grow operation or a meth lab.
