In order to get out of Freddie Mac's "Limited Multifamily Experience Sponsor" category, you must have ultimate ownership & control of either (i) 3 multifamily properties [1 of which you've owned for at least 2 years], or (ii) 1 multifamily property which you've owned for at least 5 years.

Funds of funds is basically unregistered/unlicensed broker-dealers or investment advisors acting as a sponsor in a GP role raising money to invest in other funds.As you can see by my tone I am not a big fan of them Its the next version of wholesaling at a syndication level.

One of the comments I heard is that in Florida, Citizens, the State sponsored insurance, could basically run out of funds due to the amount of damage.
