@Gary M caceres  you want an exterminator both to set traps and seal any openings to the exterior.

You also need to consider the seriousness of the call, if the front seal of a washing machine is dripping that can wait longer than if the washer has completely quit and the part will take 4 weeks.  

Controlling this moisture is 100% best done when the house is being built, so if the builder or homeowner never intended or cared that it be finished, and didn't seal the basement and provide for toe drainage, everything you do is going to be combatting that issue.

So I check the plumbing that we replaced, I look under sink, I check smoke detectors, also look at spot I repaired under a bad window seal,  heck doors for light leaks.

The slab is sloped towards a hole with a sump pump in case any water gets in however it won't have much get in as they put in the piers on top of the slab and then put in walls and seal the whole thing.

Also seal existing floor drain." 

Sealing helped a smidge.

When I do have maintenance it is usually to do a board needing to be replaced ($150) or a leak, ( new seal needed).  

In essence, water enters the sealed septic tank, solids are separated, and the water then moves to the porous leach fields for ground absorption.
