Most of the reason I got into RE is because I control the asset.

They absolutely can be a good private lender with your best interests in minds can jumpstart your RE career. 

If you have extra money that you haven't earmarked for additional RE I would do TSM index funds for a truly passive investment. 

I've spoken with several Re investors in Pa and a prominent lawyer that I know.  

After talking to support (who were actually quite responsive and helpful), they told me I had to publish the ad with only one photo first and then re-post the ad with additional photos later to force the first photo to be first.

I would also recommend talking it over with a RE professional in your area to make sure the comps for profit are accurate because it could swing a lot with different profit projections.

Or like California a RE Broker like myself or Consumer finance license all which are regulated by the state .

But I don’t divert funds into RE because I want a well diversified portfolio that has equities and RE plus cash and other assets.
