I seriously looked into purchasing a few years back in Valencia but decided ultimately the US had more potential.

It also makes things cleaner with other potential heirs.

Owner occupied loans have allowed us to purchase properties in markets with heavy appreciation, and potential for huge rent increases.

But by coming together with others, one can get in the game and put their money to work in these bigger, potentially greater return deals without having to do it solo.
