I currently house hack in Chicago, however, going from that to STRs where I cannot self manage is a different ball game and just wanting to pick peoples brains who are doing what I'm interested in doing.  

It sounds like you've got the ball rolling in the right direction already, so keep up the great work!

Newer investors will not understand that if they don't hit a few base hits and get the ball rolling.

Finding a deal worth pursuing is one thing but managing a renovation out of state is a different ball game.Do you have renovation funds to use outside of your down payment + closing costs?

Although 6% doesn’t come off easy if they are buyers ready, and if not that’s heck of a ball.

It was listed on Zillow for $110k and we made a low ball offer at $90k, ended up getting under contract for $95k.
