All real estate is fundamentally about adding value.

I share this because too many investors focus on number of doors and turning over their equity but make bad purchases and/or purchase in neighborhoods with poor fundamentals.

Long term fundamentals are great, but personally I'd wait for a few years and see how this multifamily glut plays out before doing anything.

While this is real estate, it’s fundamentally a hospitality business, and that’s what makes it thrive.

No one arguing for rent control, rent stabilization, or "just cause" nonsense understands basic economic concepts, and holds beliefs that are fundamentally opposed to the principles of liberty and freedom, upon which the US was founded.It would be great if we could just laugh along with them at the joke, but their efforts and scare tactics are still getting implemented and causing long-term harm.  

Back in 2019, we faced a challenging situation that fundamentally changed the way we handle our real estate transactions.

TLDR: be careful - make your investment decision based on your goals and what the market fundamentals are. 

You should be asking these agents to articulate the fundamentals of their given markets and the barriers of entry.

Basically the area lacks the fundamentals you should be focused on as an investor.  

The investors who learn a single strategy or tactic, usually from a “mentor” and do not bother to learn real estate fundamental, real estate finance and real estate law miss out on “creative” opportunities to significantly enhance their ROI or significantly decrease their risk.
