You may have local ordinance(s) that allow them to step in and apply pressure to correct the matter.

Then start shopping for houses, don't engage in FOMO or real estate agent pressure. 

But most wholesalers I know have a large team and lots of money in their business to find leads.So in conclusion, I agree that some (or many) of the training programs have high pressure sales techniques to get people to join their programs.

My motivation for a washer and dryer is based on the ease for cleaners to be able to turn the house as easy as possible and I did not even consider what guests would want. 

Not specific to OP but I constantly observe the pressure investors face to buy real estate.

For illustration purposes, the investor with engineering and/or construction background may excel building in a market where there is ease in doing business and can build efficiently whereas the doctor may have greater success in the established market where significant barriers already exist but can afford the entry price and can ride the waive of continued appreciation and offset their high salary by depreciating the expensive building they acquired.  

There is an upsell; but, they don't put too much pressure on you.
