I am getting married next October and want to be able to hang out with my future children but it is a little hard to visualize that since I don't have kids and am not married yet.What book would you recommend to read next to really pound my why into my head?

I still work a full time W-2 job and have three relatively young children.

This campus hosts a large Magnolia home goods store, high end furniture store, cupcake bakery, coffee shop, gardening shop, live music concert venue, large grass area with toys and balls for kids to play with, an open plaza with eight food trucks, a small baseball field (that Babe Ruth once played on and families can now play on for fun), a restored historic chapel (the oldest chapel in Central Texas), and six boutique shops with men, women, and children's products.

I made above market rate rent over 2 years and I vaguely can deduct how much they grossed and they were probably negative cashflow a little as the business became less lucrative but with all the nice furniture they invested, it should be either breakeven or lost money.

There will most likely need to be updates to some of the furniture and probably the linens.

So the biggest issue I have heard from them is of getting criticism from investors for sitting on capital and not deploying yet, not on portfolio performance, they sold off the "troubled children" to novice investors at nose-bleed prices this past 24mnths, there sitting golden right now, literally. 

It still astounds me the dire self inflicted living conditions some people & their children will 'survive' in.

Fair Housing specifically forbids discriminating against "familial status" which includes foster children.

It's hard to say without knowing the details.As an aside, the fact that he's living with a woman and her children today means nothing.
