I'm in the market rate range - house was built in 2005 so it's good condition, but I don't have upgraded granite countertops,  white cabinets or new LVP flooring.  

-Rent by room- I think labeling specific cabinets, fridge shelves, etc. can be helpful to set clear boundaries.

Find out if you're required by the local code to have a medicine cabinet before you take it out.

Should I replace the cabinets and install slabs?

For instance, a full kitchen cabinet setup costs us 800, the front main door with glass siding will cost us 400 and the windows are costing us 30 a piece.

White cabinets look clean, sleek, and very simple.
