If you are going to hang tight I would leave more in.

I usually hang out in the tax section, but I'm really interested in gaining more knowledge on the industry of property management.

If they have mattresses on the floor, never hang up their clothes, and leave beer cans all over the place, that's their issue.

Hanging around people that are actively doing it definitely helps. 

Even if it's not as good as you'd like simply hang on and then refi later down the road as interest rates come down with time.
