This forum has a bad habit of preying on people that don't know any better and then blaming them for listening to them in the first place.I dunno, I've had this post sitting here for like 24 hours not sure if I want to even post it or not, and if it's too brash.

@Thomas O'Donnell Real estate has so many tax benefits and credits available, that I always tell people it's crucial to have a CPA that's extremely knowledgeable in this area.

Maybe someone else can chime in on that one.That's my two cents, brash tough love, whatever you want to call it but I'd hate for you to jump into a bad deal just to get a deal going.  

If you can stomach his brash and boisterous attitude, he preaches in his books that owning your primary residence is a “trap” and that money is better put to use in buying investment properties and renting where you physically live.
