In 3-5 years, I want to take 6 months off work to pursue my other interests: 1) getting my yoga cert and 2) starting my own e-comm business.

There would be a la carte services like weekly cleaning, yoga sessions, 24/7 grab-and-go or sit-down brunch, co-working space, & partnerships with restaurants/bars/activity-based businesses in Houston.Putting together a Board of Directors so we will have advisors that have experience in the hotel/hostel/apartment industries, and the Board of Directors will get a percentage of the company.

I like simple and clean lines, this is NOT.Then there are some yoga meditation rooms (which have to be totally demolished due to city violations), but in them are several of these ductless mini split AC units. 

Maybe they will but I haven't seen any independent coffee shops, yoga studios etc opening in those areas, not one, so you may have a long haul unless you open one yourself (which I always thought might be an interesting real estate value add strategy).

I'd be doing that and bringing in yoga instructors...then just sit back and watch.

That included the main house about 2000 sq ft, 2 little apartments (2/1 and a 1/1) a groundskeeper quarters and a yoga studio.

But I enjoy reading (about how to be successful in real estate and self improvement books), working out, yoga, I'm an avid cook, I volunteer at a horse farm (planning on getting back into riding and competing in the relatively near future), getting into autocross, and getting into poker. 

My expenses are also lower because gone are the stupid suits I used to have to wear and now my wardrobe is 75% yoga pants.The flexibility is great and challenging.
