I am hoping the red-line project to Bayview Hospital will really make Eastwood an attractive area to live. 

Lenders cannot red line like that .. not if they are state and or federally chartered.. a HML can...  

There are 4 MBTA redline stops (Wollaston, North Quincy, Quincy Center, and Quincy Adams).

Redline my Vette and the speedo tops out at 160 mph. 

You can't redline or be too specific an area.

The Blue line is Unemployment and the Red line is Foreclosures.

Justing R and Andrea D, you articulated much better than I could have.I only add that many inequities in home ownership were not market driven but executive boardroom driven; redlining was commonplace for generations. 

For my 1031 NNN clients buying a replacement property a specific strategy is employed.Negotiating the LOI and the custom word doc redlined PSA between attorneys takes about 2 to 3 weeks which is about half of the 45 day ID period even if you find the property you want right away.

A week later the City of Concord red-lined a few things and stamped/approved them and gave me my permit.

Talked with my wife/Broker, I asked her if she thought is was redline to promote those buyer into current neighborhoods.
