Have some real estate under my belt but looking into Short term rentals opposed to long term rentals.Wondering if there is a stand out book to read to gain understanding for Australian Short Term rental market/AIRBNB.Also if there is a specific group for Australians and short term rentals for Australian market/Australian tax system etc, do point me to that.Rod

Without knowing your transaction history I stand by what I said.

But, if you don’t want to go through all the trouble – and your manager does not want it too – then selling is probably the better option, all the more so if you are witness to a good market, and you stand to make some ok profit here.

From where I'm standing the idea of a $1,000 a month cash flow property seems impossible when the best deals I find break even.

After that time, some mom & pop ice cream stand owner will be fined $50,000 by the law for not updating the FinCen after their driver license expired. 

Cleveland often stands out for its strong appreciation potential, while Toledo is known for steady cash flow opportunities.
