I’ve seen folks pivot their plans quickly if they discover one city has friendier permit processes than another.Great to meet you @Christopher Jennings - I see that Pat has already commented, she's a fantastic resource to have in your new backyard.

I tend to agree that we could be over leveraging ourselves and your comments are a good reality check but I did not paint the whole picture. 

I was thinking Stamford at first, but the projected rents seem low for the area.I have one comment on the financing, you mentioned a 30-year amortization but then also mentioned interest only, which one is it?

Here are additional comments:1) Buying out of state removes any local knowledge you have from assisting in your success, including knowing areas, people and costs. - We always recommend buying your first rental locally if possible and DIY managing to learn as much as possible before investing OOS.2) Lots of crooks and incompetents in the PMC world:( They both cost you money.- As already stated, you'll have a small portfolio.

The number one comment from all potential buyers was the design.

I haven't personally done a syndication so I can't comment much more from experience. 3.
