@Antonio Artusa I used to have that initial feeling but then trained my mind to get excited about when I feel discouraged because it means I have higher expectations for myself and I'm striving for something better.

While there may be no {short-term} motivation to the landlord to strive for more efficiency, our experience is showing mid to long term gains in lower turnover, higher demand (mostly via word of mouth) and, more recently, the ability to command better rents.... however, we'll save that debate for one of the sustainability and efficiency threads :-)

I'm 23 at the moment and striving to be developing by 30.

Generating monthly cash flow is something I am striving for in the near future, but I'm having a hard time finding a way to get started, as I don't have much cash at the moment. 

Remember your goal is to get the best price; you should at least strive to be a pleasure to sell to within all other areas of the deal.
