@Srinath GopinathanThey will stipulate what is common area property and what is the unit owners responsibility.Also covenants will dictate things like no gas grills and other things that can and cannot be done so they can properly insure and not over or under insure

Ultimately if you have proper insurance, 99.9% of plaintiff's attorneys are going to be most focused on securing the insurance carrier's cooperation because the plaintiff's attorney is most likely representing their client on a contingent basis and the insurance proceeds are how they are compensated.

To do this, you need to make sure and find designers/contractors that have built many ADUs and can properly determine what your full required scope will be.Also, jurisdictions are tightening their interpretation of ADU rules, and we're finding MANY more plan check comments are coming back for items not previously requested.

They plan to continue what’s been ruled illegal through clever workarounds and ticking boxes on forms differently.I’m just frankly shocked at what’s coming out of their mouths - almost as if the law is this silly little thing that the courts enforce because they can’t see the light properly as an agent does.I say all of this as a licensed agent.
