But I doubt that would work unless the rest of the owners could decide on how they want the ownership to go forward.The drop and swap would probably work better if it was done as a pre-cursor to selling the property entirely.

I can make the numbers on a good property turn bad for a year or more due to the loss of rents, if they can't be recovered.

@Omar Fernandez - you can start by reaching out to some attorneys, NYC is an attorney city so you'll have to get an attorney involved (who usually orders the title search).
