Yes, they did offer that formally in their letter and that was one reason with the other being that I didn't have much notice to market the property and I didn't want to leave it vacant, I rented it to another family at a lower rate than what I had been charging.

if its a mortgage loan you can do a formal assumption other wise you simply take title subject to the lein
