Should I just ask for a paid in full invoice from the contractor, and give him a 1099 for 2009, but do nothing with that 1099 in my 2009 tax return, and wait until 2010 to deduct theose expenses with the invoice I received from the contractor?

American Classics is home depots new brand, they clearanced out the other brand they used to stock awhile back, but of course i had no need at the time.. dang..Im going to be living in this property for awhile, hopefully 2 years for tax reasons and then selling, so I'm not too worried about super longevity of the cabinets, just need them to continue to look good for a few years..Laminate counters were my first though.. the more i think about the shape of the kitchen, with the U and all, i might go with tile, I think it'd be easier for me.. more experienced with tile counters then laminate..Tile backsplash was the plan!

Almost without fail every single property management company I've hired has had issues with at least one of the following:a) Creating repairs and invoices for ficticious repairs.b) Charging us for repairs done to another property.c) Not managing the tenants properly in terms of them paying the rent late. ie - US- What happened to Mays rent?

Most "experts" or "gurus" say it is OK to provide something a little more nominal in cash to the seller, say $1,000 for moving expenses or a lease deposit, but pay it as a purchase for some item such as an appliance, or a service, such as a clean out of the property, paid on an invoice separate from the HUD.
