Wayne, yep, I wouldn't try to argue these cases in front of the judge for exactly the reason you warned--I wouldn't know enough about it.

I haven't bought properties or chips on ebay yet... but with all internet shopping, be sure to double check anything you see on the internet is not a scam as I have heard warnings about this.

So I sent the money to HUD and paid back our buyer his $500 out of my pocket.Now I warn every buyer of this added risk of buying HUD properties.

On the web I see so many people warning about NR, I won't get into specifics of what I've seen but there are several references to the founder(s) of NR getting into some real legal trouble.
